Thief of Hearts Newest Stud Male - Supreme Huacaya Alpaca - Auckland Royal Easter Show

We recently returned from the Auckland Royal Easter Show where out newest Stud Male, Blackgate Lodge Suntory, was awarded Supreme Huacaya Alpaca.  Suntory has now taken Supreme at his first two shows in New Zealand, a testament to how spectacular this young boy is. 

Suntory's placings were:

The Judges comments included the following:

"We have a Brilliant Supreme here today"  "He just stood out because of his quality, a really, really good representation of an Alpaca" "He's well defined, he's strong in his conformation, when you get into his fleece it is really, really lustrous, as you get to touch it, it is so soft and beautiful... The Brightness of his Fleece... alot of density, A really good representation of an Alpaca here today, Congratulations."

In addition to to Suntory's success we had a very good run this easter weekend with ALL of our Show Team of 12 Alpacas.  In total Thief of Hearts took:

5 Second Placings

1 Third Place

5 Championships

2 Reserve Championships

1 SUPREME

The combined success awarded Thief of Hearts the Medal for "Most Successful Exhibitor" at the Show.
